Pringles Park Flash Mob
Pringles Park baseball stadium turned into a dance floor after nearly 100 ordinary people broke out in dance in Jackson’s first ever flash mob. Zumba dancers from across west Tennessee performed in the flash mob, where a large group of people randomly start dancing, then act like nothing ever happened. “Everybody was really excited down here,” said dancer Laura Vaden. “They were clapping, carrying on for us. It was cool.” Vaden is just one of dozens of dancers from instructor Hope Graves’ Zumba classes. They spent hours practicing, getting ready to break the record as the first organized group to perform a flash mob in Jackson. “I have been working with all of my classes in Milan, Bolivar, Jackson, everywhere that I teach and every body’s been working so hard,” Graves said. Organizers say they are planning another flash mob in Jackson, but will not say when or where it’s going to happen.
