Man Reports Being Shot; Police Say He is Uncooperative

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police are investigating a shooting after a man reported to them that he had been shot. Investigators said they were notified of the shooting Thursday night. The victim is reportedly not cooperating with police. Police said the victim was previously shot about a week and a half ago. In that incident, the victim said he was shot in Jackson but investigators determined he had been shot in Brownsville. In connection with that incident, he was charged with filing a false report. The victim had an active arrest warrant for violation of parole. Police expect to release additional details Friday afternoon.
