USM Hands Out Tablet Computers
A corporation says it will offer 1,000 tablet computers to students in an honors program at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Samsung Mobile says the 1,000 Galaxy Tab tablets will be offered to students participating in a pilot program in USM’s Honors College this fall.
In a news release, the company says the tablets will give students mobile access to their courses, content, e-textbooks, grades, schedules, emergency notifications, and more.
