Carroll County Authorities Search for Suspect

North Pine Street in Bruceton was shut down for the majority of Tuesday night as law enforcement searched for a wanted man. “Bruceton has never seen anything like this, ever,” said one resident. According to Carroll County Sheriff Andy Dickson, Maurice Pierre Teague, 38, is wanted on a number of charges. After receiving information that he was possibly armed and inside a home in the 100 block of North Pine Street, officers reacted. The SWAT team searched the home for more than five hours. Although Teague was no where to be found, officers did find a couple of loaded handguns inside the home. Sheriff Dickson is asking anyone with information on Teague’s whereabouts to contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department immediately at (731) 986-8947.
