Henderson Co. Man Dies After Crash

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. – Two days after a two car crash just outside of Lexington, one of the drivers died from his injures. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Larry Hinson, 30, of Lexington, died at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Saturday. Investigators believe Hinson ran off the road, while driving along McCaney Mill Road, over corrected and crossed into oncoming traffic. His Mercury Sable collided with a Dodge pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck, a 32-year-old man from Beech Bluff, was injured, according to the THP report. The extent of his injuries were not released. The trooper’s report showed that neither man was wearing a seat belt.
