Armed Robbery at Fuel City

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police are looking for the gunman who stole cash and cigarettes from an east Jackson convenience store, late Sunday night. A clerk at the Fuel City on East Chester Street called 911 at 9:22 p.m. She said the store had just been robbed. Officers, who viewed the surveillance video, said the gunman was a black man with what looked like dark-colored t-shirt material covering his face. He was wearing a fir-trimmed, medium blue parka. Officers said the video showed him rob the store at gunpoint, taking cash from one of the registers and cigarettes. He was last seen running from the store.
