Family of members of Wallace Jimmerson describe him as a gentle, spirited family man, who is kind and generous to those in the neighborhood. “I don’t believe he went there with the intentions of killing her,” said Alberta Wooden, cousin of Wallace Jimmerson. Wallace Jimmerson is charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault, and felony reckless endangerment, after he allegedly followed his wife to work, tried to run her over with his vehicle then fired multiple shots at her. “There’s clear evidence that he traveled from the next county over, armed with a loaded shot gun,” said Lt. Tyreece Miller of the Jackson Police Department. Lt. Miller said the attempted first degree murder charge indicates authorities believe Jimmerson’s action were premeditated. “I really think he went there with intentions of working things out,” said Wooden.
