Jackson Police Looking For Gunman

Jackson police are searching for the person who shot a man during a fight at an East Jackson apartment complex. It happened just after midnight Saturday when police received a call of shots fired at the Royal Arms apartments. Authorities searched by foot and by helicopter to find the shooter, who remains on the run. Police said they do not have a description of the shooter. The victim was driven to the hospital by a friend where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released.
