Henry Co. Court Clerk Employee Terminated Amid Investigation

A Henry County court clerk employee is out of a job after a county audit revealed what is being called inappropriate activity. The employee was suspended after a brief investigation by the Tennessee Comptroller Treasury’s Office. During the investigation, further information was brought to light alleging unapproved transactions dating back more than several years by the employee, who, as a result of the findings, was fired. No other employees have been linked in the investigation at this time, which is on-going.
