Construction Halted for Holiday Weekend
If you plan on traveling this Labor Day weekend, TDOT leaders are taking steps to make your holiday drive as smooth as possible. Officials said the Labor Day holiday is one of the busiest travel times, so all lane closure projects will stop, beginning at Noon, Friday until 6, Tuesday morning providing more roadway for drivers. However, workers will still be on site in many construction zones, so officials urge you to be mindful of your speed.
