Toyota Supplier To Locate IN North MS
KC Integrated Services will open a logistics service center in Sherman, where it will employ 100 workers within three years.
The company will work with the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi in Blue Springs as well as its Tier 1 suppliers.
Ken Calender, the company’s owner and CEO, tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that center will provide just-in-time delivery services and will provide warehouse and storage services. It also will provide full-service truck maintenance.
The company, based in Carleton, Mich., said in July it was opening a temporary office in New Albany while it looked for a permanent site near the Toyota plant.
The company is investing $5.1 million in a 115,000-square-foot facility. It plans to open by the end of the year or early next year.
