Endangered Child Found Safely in Hardin Co.

The Hardin County 13-year-old at the center of an “Endangered Child Alert” issued Tuesday is now home safely. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Leeann Weaver was found Wednesday morning in Counce, which is in Hardin County. Agents believe after her father took her Tuesday, he drove her into Alabama before returning to West Tennessee. Lee Weaver, 61, was arrested Wednesday morning. The Hardin County Sheriff’s Department has not released what charges he faces. However, deputies said before Weaver took off with the teen, he assaulted her mother and was armed with a baseball bat.
