March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction
Thursday night, the finest culinary masters of West Tennessee showcased their creations as part of the Signature Chefs Auction benefiting the March of Dimes. Close to 200 people spent the evening noshing on tasty dishes by 10 area chefs, as well as sampling area wines. The black tie affair is expected to raise close to $30,000, which will go toward promoting March of Dimes’ mission. “The money goes to try and stop this crisis we have in our nation of babies being born too soon and too small,” said Ginger Carver, Director of the March of Dimes. Funds were raised no only by ticket sales but through a silent auction including big-ticket items like a cruise and the services of a private chef.
