Mother Accused Of Killing Newborn Twins Gets Bond
A young Hendersonville woman charged with two counts of first-degree murder the death of her newborn twins has been allowed $250,000 bond.
The general sessions courtroom in Gallatin was packed Monday with supporters of 25-year-old Lindsey Lowe and several testified on her behalf.
That included her father, Mark Lowe, who called her “a model daughter” and “as good as it gets.”
Lowe said he had no idea his daughter was pregnant before finding the body of a dead baby boy in a laundry basket on Sept 14. It was later discovered there were two bodies in the basket in Lindsey Lowe’s bedroom.
Family friend Debbie Naylor said even those who love her may never be able to explain her actions, but said, “Lindsey is not a monster.”
