A Jackson man has been arrested and charged after narcotics officers said they found mare than $7,200 in drugs and money in his east Jackson home. Saidrick Pewitte, 38, appeared in Jackson City Court, Thursday morning where he was charged with drug and firearms counts. Investigators said a search of his home on Altamont Drive uncovered more than 51 grams of cocaine, Lortab and Vicodin pills, drug paraphernalia, two handguns, a rifle, a shotgun and more than $2,000 in cash. Officers said Pewitte has two cocaine possession convictions already on his record. He remains jailed in lieu of $75,000 bond.
