Jackson Residents Arrested On Drug Charges

Two people are behind bars Saturday for having equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine in their car, according to investigators. The Jackson Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit arrested Ashton Siler, 20, and Morgan Jernigan, 24, during a traffic stop on North Highland Avenue. Officers found the equipment, as well as meth and other pills. Siler and Jernigan each face several drug-related charges. They are being held at the Madison County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
