Police Seek Identity of Alleged Headphone Thief

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman who allegedly stole expensive headphones from a local store. Surveillance video showed the suspect entering the store just after 8:30 p.m. The woman allegedly went to the electronics department and removed a set of Bose headphones, valued at $149.99 from a locked pegboard device. Employees said the woman then placed the headphones underneath her purse in the shopping cart and left the store without making a purchase. The headphones were not found after the woman left. The suspect was described as being approximately 5’8″ and 180 pounds with blond-brown hair.
