A free, mobile medical clinic will open its doors to West Tennesseans this weekend. The Remote Area Medical Clinic will be in Henderson at the Chester County Junior High School Saturday and Sunday. Medical, vision and dental services are available. The clinic is free and open to anyone regardless of where they live. It also does not matter if you do or do not have insurance, even Tenncare members are eligible. Organizers say the service leaves everyone involved with a new sense of pride. “All of the volunteers go away with the feeling that they have done something good for people,” said Stan Brock, Founder of Remote Area Medical Clinic. “They are just happy to be here and serve.” Doors open at 6:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Organizers expect the line to start forming by 3:30 a.m. The clinic has been held at 653 similar events across the country for the past 26 years.
