Police: Domestic Assault Call Leads to Marijuana Discovery

AUTHORITIES SAY THEY’VE BUSTED A MARIJUANA GROW OPERATION IN A SAVANNAH HOME… ALL BECAUSE THE COUPLE WHO LIVED THERE GOT INTO A FIGHT. [Effects:TAKE MAP TITLE: Drug Investigation CITY: Savannah CO.: Hardin] {–CG/FS–} Officers in Hardin County say they busted a marijuana grow operation in a Savannah home all because the couple who lived there got into a fight. On Sunday, Christopher Kutyla, 42, and his wife Regina Kutyla, 41, were arrested and each charged with domestic assault. While at the hospital, the woman asked for her glasses, which were still at her house. Officers say while looking for her glasses in the home they found a marijuana grow operation, a 12-gauge shotgun and a safe. C. Kutyla now also faces charges of manufacturing marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a felony weapons count.
