Law enforcement agencies across west Tennessee are hosting drug take back events this weekend including the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics unit. Locations in Madison County where you can drop off any unused or old prescription drugs this Saturday include, Super-D Pharmacy, 1940 North Highland, the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, 546 East College, and Super-D Pharmacy, 1543 South Highland. The hours for drop-off are from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Experts said disposing of them makes you less likely to be targeted by criminals seeking prescription drugs. The event is not for the disposal of street drugs or paraphernalia.
