TN River Fire Department Training Conference
The Hardin County Fire Department hosted it’s third annual “Tennessee River Run Training Conference” Saturday and Sunday. More than 200 firefighters and instructors from all across Tennessee came to Hardin County this weekend with one goal in mind, learning the latest techniques in protecting their communities. The conference consists of classes and many hands-on demonstrations, from rope rescue to pump operations. “It’s just going to make their communities safer. It’s going to make their fire departments a better department, and the knowledge will be be handed down from generation to generation,” says Lynchburg Fire Chief Mark Neal.
