Carl Perkins Center Gets New Toyota Van

Kids with the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse will be riding in style thanks to a contest for non-profit organizations. In July, the Exchange Club won Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good Contest through Facebook voting. On Tuesday, the folks at Robinson Toyota handed over the keys to the new Sienna Mini-Van complete with a 100,000 mile warranty. The organization’s director Pam Nash said the van is going to a great cause. “We are just so excited to be a part of this and to be a recipient. And we thank everybody that voted for us. And please know that this gift is gonna go to help a lot of kids,” Nash said. The Toyota 100 Cars For Good Program awarded vehicles to 100 non- profit organizations across the country.
