Update: Trooper Injured in Monday Night Wreck

7 Eyewitness News has an update to exactly what caused a state trooper to crash into a ditch, Monday night in Gibson County. The THP said Trooper Phillip Clark ran off a bridge that was under construction as he attempted to stop a driver around 7:30 p.m. The crash happened on Highway 186 between Gibson and Trenton. Trooper Clark suffered minor injuries and was released from the hospital within hours. Investigators said the driver he was attempting to stop, kept going.
