Man Arrested in Humboldt for Rape

Investigators in Humboldt said they have the man responsible for raping a young woman earlier this month. Gilberto Canales, 21, has been arrested and charged with aggravated rape in the attack of an 18-year-old woman inside a Humboldt motel on November 6. Canales remained jailed in lieu of $50,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for November 16.
