Arrests Made in Speece Cove Burglary

A watchful neighbor in east Jackson is credited with the arrest of three unsuccessful thieves. Donald Grant, Junior and Silence Wright, who are both 18, as well as a 15-year-old juvenile are jailed on attempted aggravated burglary charges. Grant faces an additional count of assault of an officer. Investigators said around 10:30, Wednesday morning, a homeowner along Speece Cove called police after spotting people near a neighbors home. Officers stopped them minutes later and determined they had tried t break into the house. All three remaind jailed in lieu of bond.
