Medina Police are warning residents to be aware after receiving numerous complaints of questionable salesmen in several neighborhoods selling book and magazines. Investigators said the salesmen were soliciting in the name of Hands Up Distribution and had legitimate looking documents and receipt books. Some residents complained that the salesmen began threatening them when turned down and asked to leave, with some just begging for money. Officers said the self-proclaimed salesmen were described as well-dressed black men, who ranged in age from the mid 20s to mid 40s. Investigators encourage you to cautious and contact your local law enforcement immediately.
