RV Catches Fire Near I-40
A scary scene along Interstate 40, Friday afternoon as an RV burst into flames. Around 2:30 p.m., the 30 foot camper caught fire while on the off-ramp of Interstate 40 at Campbell Street. The owner told 7 Eyewitness News two prospective buyers for the RV was riding with him when it started to overheat. He said everyone got out after they saw smoke coming from the front of the vehicle. He said within minutes it was engulfed in flames. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
