Surveillance Released in Robbery of Henderson Family Dollar

Police have released surveillance video of a man they say robbed the Family Dollar in Henderson last month. The suspect is a white man, around 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He has brown hair and is believed to be in his 30’s. The surveillance video, which can be viewed by clicking on the box, is actually from a nearby grocery store. Officers say he walked into the grocery store first then went to the Family Dollar. Once inside the Family Dollar, officers say he looked around for a little while then took an item to the cash register where he appeared to be checking out. Investigators say as soon as the cash drawer opened, he pulled a gun on the clerk and told her to give him the money.
