Jackson Christmas Parade Ushers in Season

The holiday spirit came alive in downtown Jackson Tuesday night with the annual Jackson Christmas Parade. Even with the cold temperatures, it was standing room only on the path of the parade. Thousands lined the streets to get a glimpse of area marching bands, floats and crowned beauties as they wound their way through the downtown area. This year’s theme was “A Red, White and Blue Christmas”, to salute the United States military. Of course, the highlight of the night was a visit from Santa Claus.
