Lexington Sets Date to Begin Liquor Applications
Entrepreneurs will soon have the opportunity to open up liquor stores in Lexington for the first time. The city’s board of Aldermen voted in a second and final hearing to approve all the restrictions of the stores. This means applications are available for people interested in opening a packaged liquor stores. Some of the requirements are that store owners must be a resident of Henderson County of at least one year and the stores must be located in the business district of Lexington along Highways 412 and 22.
