Police Search for Missing Man

Jackson police are searching for a local man who has reportedly been missing since Wednesday. According to a news release, Dennis Tyus, 28, has not been seen since Wednesday evening. Tyus is described as a black male with dreadlocks, 6′ 1″ and weighs about 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve, black shirt, blue jeans, and blue, white and orange Nike shoes. Dennis Tyus was last seen driving a tan, 4-door, 2008 Chevy Malibu TN license plate 312-TGF. The car has a dent on the right passenger side and the right front headlight cover is broken. Police said there have been recent threats that were made against Tyus.
