Men Jailed, Facing Sex Charges

Two men are jailed in Carroll County accused of having sex with minors in Huntingdon. According to Huntingdon Police, Robert Lee Douglas is charged with statutory rape and Steven Petz is charged with rape of a child. Police believe Douglass had sex with a fourteen year old while Petz is accused of raping a 12 year old in late November. The incidents are alleged to have happened in the same place on the same day. Police say the pair is also being investigated for similar crimes in neighboring jurisdictions. Douglas waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday. The case against him will go to the Carroll County Grand Jury. Petz, who is held in lieu of $100,000 bond, is scheduled to return to court in January.
