Tennesseans traveling on interstate or state routes through the holiday season will not have to worry about lane closures. According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, there will be no temporary construction-related lane closures permitted starting Friday at noon. Officials said there will be no closures through the morning of January 2 to observe the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
