Suspended Union City Officers Identified

We can now tell you three Union City Police officers have been suspended as the investigation into former Officer Mike Hogg continues. Hogg stands charged with filing a false insurance claim on a 4-wheeler and collecting on it. According to Union City Police Chief Joe Garner, Patrolman Ashley Thompson, Randy O’Dell and David Jones have been place on administrative leave as an internal investigation is conducted into their knowledge of the incident. As 7 Eyewitness News first told you, Obion County Deputy Dave Davis resigned after being suspended as part of the investigation.
