Trenton Man Arrested in Abuse of Autistic Girls

Friday afternoon, Trenton police arrested a 62-year-old man on charges that he sexually assaulted two young autistic girls. Officers say Robert Harold Reeves, of Trenton, admitted that he touched the bare bodies of the eight and 10-year-old girls several times between November of last year and this week. Investigators said Reeves was a friend of the girls’ parents. “In most case we find that these are not their first victims,” said Trenton Police Chief Will Sanders. “So it would not be surprising to learn that there are other victims out there.” Reeves faces nine separate charges of aggravated sexual battery. His bond has not been set.
