Man Shot in Lincoln Courts
JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police are investigating an early morning shooting that happened in the eastern part of the city. According to investigators, officers were called to a shooting around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Lincoln Courts. Police said a 22-year-old man had dropped a woman off in the Lincoln Courts housing complex. As he was sitting in his truck, a white Ford Crown Victoria, with about three black males inside, drove by and someone shot his truck multiple times. A bullet penetrated the door and struck him in the left hip area. He was treated and released from a local hospital early Friday. No one has been arrested in connection with the case and police are not releasing a description of the shooter.
