Dryer Probably Caused Division Ave. Fire
Jackson Firefights believe their investigation revealed the cause of a Tuesday night house fire which heavily damaged a Jackson home. Investigators told 7 Eyewitness News the fire started in a utility room and it appears a clothes dryer started it. The fire happened around 9 p.m. in the 300 block of Division Avenue. Fire crews reported seeing smoke and flames shooting from the back of the house when they arrived, but were able to quickly get the fire under control in less than an hour . No one was injure in the blaze.
