Trooper Injured in Gibson Co. Wreck

A trooper who was injured in Gibson County Friday afternoon was recovering in a Memphis hospital. Officials said the injured officer, Trooper Chris Moeller was airlifted to The Med in Memphis with a broken leg. Troopers said the crash happened near Trenton around 3:30 Friday afternoon at the intersection of Highways 45 and 54. Investigators said Moeller was driving north on Highway 45 when the driver of a red Oldsmobile, pulled out from Highway 54 causing the collision. The driver of that car was being treated in Jackson. The extent of their injuries is not known. The crash is under investigation.
