Pair Suspected of Stealing Weapons

A Henderson County duo is accused of stealing from one of their grandfathers. Investigators said a witness told them he saw Jimmy Maxwell III along with Allen Hardee in the driveway of the home that was broken into on Friday the 13th. The victim happens to be Hardee’s grandfather. Both men are accused of taking tools, collectible knives, and firearms. Officials are also investigating whether the men are responsible for another break in at Hardee’s father’s house. “Both unemployed, neither one of them have a vehicle. Have to either get a ride or borrow a vehicle when they have to go somewhere. Just young guys out of work,” said Captain Tracey Grisham. Maxwell has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary and Theft over $500.00. Hardee turned himself in today on the same charges.
