Two Arrested in Suitcase Theft

Two people face felony charges for reportedly breaking into a pair of residences in November. Police said the only thing stolen from the homes was an empty suitcase. Law enforcement said the two homes broken into were part of a duplex in Henderson County. Other items were in the homes but the suitcase, which was valued at only $50.00, was the lone missing item. Henderson County deputies said they have surveillance video showing Curtis Lynn Renfroe and Joni Little going into the units and coming out with only the suitcase. The two are charged with two counts each of aggravated burglary. Renfroe is also facing an unrelated charge in connection with the manufacture of methamphetamine. Renfroe is in the Henderson County Jail in lieu of $25,000.00 bond. Little was released from jail after posting a $20,000.00 bond.
