Case of Preacher Accused of Attacking Gay Son Goes to Court

Tuesday, a Gibson County judge dismissed all charges in the case of a gay couple who accused a preacher and several deacons of assault. Last September, Jerry Pittman, Junior said he and his boyfriend, Dustin Lee were attacked by several deacons outside Grace Fellowship Church in Fruitland. Pittman argued the deacons were following the orders of his father, Jerry Pittman, Senior, who is the preacher of the church. Today, the judge ruled there is not enough evidence to proceed and dismissed all charges.
