It has taken almost three years but a Jackson man accused of shooting a man during a 2009 home invasion has been found guilty. A Madison County jury has convicted Andra Taylor, 40, of aggravated burglary, reckless endangerment and a weapons count. He was free on a $100,000 bond, which was canceled upon his conviction. Investigators said on July 16, 2009, Taylor forced his way into an apartment and shot a 52-year-old man in the stomach. He was arrested three months later in Illinois. Taylor will be sentenced March 5. He faces up to 14 years in prison.
