Update: Police Investigating East Jackson Shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. – Police have released new information surrounding a weekend shooting in East Jackson. Jackson Police told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News it happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near the 400 block of Jackson Street. Officers heard shots fired when they were on call several blocks away. Police said it started with a fight between two men. According to the victim, as he was getting into his car, the other man shot into the front driver’s side window, and another time into a car door. Officers said no one was hit. Police have not made any arrests yet, and are still investigating.
