Souper Sunday to Benefit RIFA
If you are a Giants or Patriots fan, you do not have to be reminded that the Superbowl is this Sunday. But did you know there is a another Superbowl of a different kind? Sunday is also the Soup-er Bowl of Caring, which is a fundraiser for RIFA hosted by several local churches and youth groups. Participating churches have volunteers at the entrance before Sunday services asking for a $1 donation from each person. The Soup-er Bowl of Caring began 20 years ago and is a national campaign.
