Police Investigating Shots Fired Call at Lane College

JACKSON, Tenn. – A Lane College security guard told Jackson Police he was shot at late Sunday night. According to officials, the security guard was approached by a male in dark clothing around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Payne and Middleton Streets on campus. The security guard told police he was robbed and several shots were fired as the suspect fled the scene. Police said there were no injuries and they are investigating.
