Church members took some time to encourage their youth Saturday afternoon. Focus on Christ Ministries hosted the event, “Saving Our Daughter”. The ministry provided lunch and free pictures. Organizers said they wanted to encourage their children to be sexually pure, which they believe is not easy with sexual imagery in modern media. “They don’t have to succumb to what society says about sexual activity. That they can have the strength to stand,” said church member Delita Johnson.
