KY Airport Getting Full Body Scanners
Full body scanners are coming to the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington.
The new high-tech security devices will be installed in the next few weeks, according to WKYT-TV. The Transportation Security Administration says there will be privacy safeguards for all who go through them (http://bit.ly/wPYbqd).
Frequent flier Jim Herbert says he’s been through the full body scanners in Indianapolis and prefers them because they are faster to get through.
Traveler Joe Morrison told the station that since the devices will keep people safe he wouldn’t mind going through.
