Officials said Evans was booked in the Obion County Jail and has waived extradition. He will be transported to Fairfax County, Virginia to face the charge. “I think that’s pretty bad, you know, a man of God supposed to be leading kids, you know, and try to show them the way to turn around and do something like that,” said Earnest Smith, who Lives in Union City. According to the website for First Church of God, the church was set to host a youth conference this weekend. The Union City Police Department also assisted in the search and arrest.
