Two Face Marijuana Charges

A boyfriend and girlfriend are behind bars following a narcotics bust on Greenfield Drive in north Jackson. Gary Love and Johnitta Lee were arrested after Metro Narcotics officers served a warrant at the Greenfield Drive home. Love was arrested while trying to flush bags of marijuana down the toilet. Lee was arrested after she returned home. Officers found 114.7 grams of marijuana in multiple bags along with a scale, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia. Both are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Love has an additional charge of tampering with evidence and is being held on a $6,000 bond. Lee is free after posting a $6,000 bond.
