Clarksville Ambulance Wreck
Police in Clarksville are investigating a crash involving an ambulance and a car. Police spokesman Jim Knoll said the ambulance was responding under lights and siren to a medical call Tuesday night when a car turned in front of it. The ambulance struck the car on the passenger side and knocked it down an embankment into two parked cars. The 21-old woman who was driving the car was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where she was later reported in stable condition with a head injury. The two people on the ambulance crew weren’t hurt. There was no patient aboard the ambulance.
